Liferay announced the update of its products for e-commerce and for business teams that need to provide digital services in different channels.

Liferay provides an Open Source platform to generate digital web experiences for mobile and other connected devices. With its new products (Liferay DXP 7.2 and Liferay Commerce 2.0), the company seeks to improve its services to business teams and offer tools more comfortable to use, customize and manage with the flexibility of a decoupled CMS.

“The ability to agilely deliver relevant and customized digital experiences for customers across all contact points has become an imperative for business success,” explains Ed Chung, VP of Liferay Products. “As companies seek to serve customers in their preferred channels, development based on headless architecture is increasingly important.”

Among the new features offered by Liferay DXP 7.2 are content recommendations or automatic labeling. Liferay CMS allows companies to create content that they can reuse in order to deliver personalized experiences.
